Student Employment

NMU Intercollegiate Athletics and Recreational Sports employs roughly 200 student employees each year in a wide variety of jobs ranging from event management and promotions, officiating, facilities maintenance, game statistics, to youth recreation counseling. If you are a current NMU student and interested in working for the department, please print and complete the Student Employee Application Form. All potential student employees are also asked to submit a cover letter with their application and return those materials to PEIF Office #126.

While working for Intramural Sports, I have met and officiated an abundance of students, coaches, and faculty/staff. This position has kept me close to a fun, sport competitive atmosphere. With sports such as pickleball, volleyball, flag football, and many more, you will gain a knowledge of the tules of each sport and can work with any of your choosing. We have a fun crew of student officials that get better after every game.
