is designed for individuals who are already employed in the corrections
field. Students must submit original
certification of their academy training to the Criminal Justice Department, one
semester prior to the semester they intend to graduate in order to receive
advanced placement credit for the Jail Academy (six credits) or State
Corrections Academy (twelve credits).
