Student Support
Services
The Student
Support Services Office provides academic support services
including individual needs assessment, basic skills development
(reading, writing, mathematics, and computer use), study skills
development (note-taking, time management, stress management, and
test-taking), tutoring, personal and academic counseling, and
friendly support and encouragement.
Students are eligible to
participate in the student support services program if they meet
one or more of the following eligibility criteria:

come from a
low-income background;

are in the
"first generation" of their family to attend college (neither
parent has a baccalaureate degree); and/or
-
have a
diagnosed disability.
