Upward Bound Program
The Upward Bound
Program is funded by the United States Department of Education and
serves high school students who meet federal guidelines at
Ishpeming, Westwood, Negaunee and Marquette High Schools. The
purpose of the program is to help high school students generate
the skills and motivation to complete their high school degree and
to enter and succeed in post-secondary education. All services
are free to the program participants and include:

major field trip at successful completion

Upward Bound
Bridge-College Scholarship (tuition for 4 credit summer course
at NMU, plus books, room and board, tutoring, and all supplies)
