Join Dr. Jill Leonard at Noon in JxJ 1315 on November 3rd as she speaks about how to present research in an engaging and professional way. Dr. Leonard has extensive experience with conference presentations both as a researcher and a research advisor. She will share her knowledge about presenting to a crowd and also tips about presenting visual research like posters. Students who are participating in the Three Minute Thesis Competition or the Celebration of student Scholarship are encouraged to attend.

NMU grad students compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to move on to the regional finals of this international competition. 3MT is all about communicating often complicated concepts in a way that is comprehensible and interesting to the lay person. Members of the McNair Scholars Program will compete in their own category. Join us from wherever you are via zoom.
