 1.     That the minutes of the December 11, 2015 meeting of the Board be approved.

B.     Gifts of Property

1. Gift to the Department of Technology and Occupational Sciences (Electrical Line Technician Program) from Upper Peninsula Power Company, Ishpeming, MI, 2007 Ford F350 with plow.

2. Gift to the Department of Technology and Occupational Sciences (Automotive Service Technology Program) from Ms. Elizabeth Fujita, Chassell, MI, 2000 Subaru Legacy Wagon.

3. Gift to the Department of Technology and Occupational Sciences (Automotive Service Technology Program) from Mr. John A. Lakowicz, Skandia, MI, 1997 2-door Pontiac Sunfire.

4. Gift to the Department of Technology and Occupational Sciences from Mr. Brian and Ms. Denise Nurkala, Gwinn, MI, 1998 Ford Escort.

C.     Personnel Actions: 

Appointments:

1. Kapla, Dale P., Associate Provost for Academic Affairs, effective January 11, 2016.  (Promotion)

Emeritus:

1. Dr. Auragzeb Syed be granted the status of Professor Emeritus of Political Science, effective March 1, 2016.

D.     Property and Finance:

1. That the Purchasing Manager and/or Risk Insurance Manager have the authority to accept gifts of personal property required to be registered in the State of Michigan, on behalf of the University.

E.     Special Items:

1. The revised Entry and Search Policy be approved.  A copy of the policy is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

2. That the University Realignment Plan be approved.  A copy of the plan is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
