C. Property and Finance:
1. The Financial Statements for Northern Michigan University for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2018, and all related transactions, be approved. The audit of these statements was conducted by Rehmann Robson, Certified Public Accountants. The statements were reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. A copy of the Financial Statements is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
2. The administration be given the authority to negotiate, and if deemed appropriate, purchase ten (10) acres of property located at Section 31, Township 48 North, Range 25 West, in the Township of Marquette, MI 49855, at a price not to exceed $45,000, and to execute all necessary documents required to complete the purchase.
3. Northern Michigan University’s Facilities Five-Year Master Plan, as required by the Department of Management and Budget, and the 2019-2020 Capital Outlay Project Request, be approved. A copy of the plan and the project request is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
4. The Fiscal Year 2019 Long-Term Maintenance Project List be approved. A copy is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
5. That the 2018-19 General Fund Operating Budget be approved. A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
6. That the 2018-19 Designated Fund Operating Budget be approved. A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
7. The rental agreement between Northern Michigan University and the State of Michigan, Department of Technology, Management, and Budget, for the Department of Attorney General, located in Suites 1201 and 1202 of the Don H. Bottum University Center, be approved. A copy of the rental agreement is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.
8. To confirm the Board of Trustees of Northern Michigan University approval for the upcoming academic year Technology, Learning, and Communication (TLC) notebook program annual replacement of 175 additional ThinkPad X1 Carbon Gen 6s, model 20KG (to include warranty, engineering services, software imaging, and shipping costs).
