C.     Degrees:

 

1.          The August 2019 final list of graduates and the December 2019 preliminary list of graduates be approved. A copy of the lists are on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

D.     Property and Finance:

 

1.     That pursuant to the State of Michigan Public Act 152, Northern Michigan University will continue to be an 80/20 Employer.

 

2.     That the Board of Trustees affirm the purchase of 1707 Schaffer Avenue, Marquette, Michigan 49855, at a cost of $175,000, plus related closing expenses.

 

E.     Special Items:

 

1.     That the Academic Calendars for 2022-2023, 2023-2024, and 2024-2025 be approved as attached.

 

2.     That the Communication and Performance Studies Department name be changed to Communication and Media Studies, effective January 1, 2020.

 

3.     That the following Extended Learning and Community Engagement department and programs be renamed and approved:

·       The department and programs previously named “International Education Services,” “English Language Institute,” and “International Recruiting” have been combined and renamed “International Programs.”

 

4.     That the following new program be approved:

·       Master of Science in Nursing, effective fall 2021

 

5.     That the resolution of the Board of Trustees of Northern Michigan University authorizing the one-day event liquor license be approved:
