D.     Property and Finance:

 

1.         The 2025-2026 Auxiliary Operations Budget, be approved.  A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

2.         The 2025-2026 Housing and Residence Life Budget be approved.  A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

3.         The 2025-2026 General Fund Operating Budget be approved.  A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

4.         The 2025-2026 Designated Fund Operating Budget be approved.  A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

5.         The Northern Michigan University Facilities Five-Year Master Plan, as required by the Department of Technology, Management and Budget, and the 2026-2027 Capital Outlay Project Request, be approved.  A copy of the plan and project request is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

6.         The Fiscal Year 2026 Long-Term Maintenance Project list be approved.  A copy is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

 

7.         The following Capital Projects with a total cost over $250,000 be approved:

3D Printers

·       Innovate Marquette SmartZone donated seven (7) 3D printers to NMU

·       Six (6) printers will be housed in Engineering and Technology and one (1) will be housed in the School of Art and Design

·       The Gift Acceptance Committee approved the acceptance of this gift on May 20, 2025.

·       The claimed value by the donor is $6,900

 

Ultracold Freezer

·       The Marquette County Health Department donated a Haier Ultracold Freezer to the Center for Forensic Science

·       The freezer will be housed in the Forensic Anthropology Research Laboratory and will be used to store research samples

·       The Gift Acceptance Committee approved the acceptance of this gift on April 1, 2025.

·       The claimed value by the donor is $8,500.
