New Student Success Specialist
Miranda Wilkie is the Student Success Specialist within the Northern Michigan University College of Business. As the student success specialist, Ms. Wilkie will provide assistance to students in terms of advising outreach and services. This is accompanied by mentoring, career exploration, academic skill development, and course scheduling alongside faculty advisors for students that have declared their majors within the College of Business. Miranda is available for student advising appointments and believes that her greater purpose is to ensure the individual success of students here at NMU.
Miranda holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Grand Valley State University and will obtain her Master of Public Administration from Northern Michigan University in the spring. Miranda enjoys spending time outside and with her dogs, reading, and in the garden.

Business Buzz is the College of Business one-page newsletter. Over the semester, the Deans Office receives information and opportunities from various sources which are for the benefit of our students. The Business Buzz contains employment and internship opportunities, timely deadline reminders, invitations to events, and other items.
