I will start out with a high level view and then delve into how to vet individual funding announcements. Finally, I will leave you with a quick checklist that you can use to evaluate funding opportunities in the future.

Post Award Compliance: Powerpoint Post-Award Useful Links

This session will be for faculty who have recently received an NMU Internal Funding award or external funding.  Covered in this session will be: setting up a grant account, expending funds from the account, and close-out procedures of your award.  This training will be presented by Erica Goff (Grants and Contracts Office) and Kathy Frazier (Controller's Office).  Additionally, discussed will be common changes which may occur during the grant period, federal/state regulations, sponsor requirements, and university policies and procedures.
