Peninsula Studies at NMU
The
objectives of the center are to provide: (1) courses dealing with
regional history for students; (2) links between faculty who have
interests in the geographical, economic, political, social,
historical, business and cultural aspects of the Upper Peninsula;
(3) a catalyst for the preservation and study of the culture and
society of the Upper Peninsula; (4) a publication outlet for works
on the region; (5) cooperative efforts with other organizations
(both private and public) which have interests related to the
region. |
