Shirley Brozzo (Multicultural Education and Resource Center) was the commencement speaker for Keweenaw Bay Ojibwe Community College on May 5.  Brozzo is a member of the Keweenaw Bay Tribe of Chippewa Indians.

David Cooper (Philosophy) conducted training sessions at the ninth annual New Hampshire Attorney General's Training Program for State Agencies on Administrative Investigations and Adjudication. Cooper addressed the overall topic of "Normative Professionalism: Why Professional Accountability Requires Regulatory Boards."
