Emeritus:

C. Property and Finance:

1. The Financial Statements for Northern Michigan University for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019, and all related transactions, be approved. The audit of these statements was conducted by Rehmann Robson, Certified Public Accountants. The statements were reviewed and approved by the Finance Committee of the Board of Trustees. A copy of the Financial Statements is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

2. Northern Michigan University’s Facilities Five-Year Master Plan, as required by the Department of Management and Budget, and the 2020-2021 Capital Outlay Project Request, be approved. A copy of the plan and the project request is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

3. That the Northern Michigan University Campus Master Plan be approved. A copy of the plan is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

4. The Fiscal Year 2020 Long-Term Maintenance Project List be approved. A copy is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

5. That the 2019-20 General Fund Operating Budget be approved. A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

6. That the 2019-20 Designated Fund Operating Budget be approved. A copy of the budget is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

7. That Northern Michigan University’s Investment Policy Statement (IPS) be approved. A copy of the policy is on file with the Secretary of the Board of Trustees.

D. Special Items:

1. That the new medicinal plant chemistry lab be named “Northern Michigan University Shimadzu Analytical Core Laboratory for Medicinal Plant Sciences,” be approved.

2. That the following restructuring within the Academic Affairs Division be approved effective September 23, 2019:

· The department previously named “MicroRepair and HelpDesk be renamed “Technology Support Services.”

· The department previously named “Telecom and Network Services” be renamed “Network Infrastructure Center”

· The department previously named “Information Technology – Technology Services” be renamed “Network Operations Center”

· The department previously named “Asset Management” be renamed “Technology Asset and Business Management”

5. That the resolution of the Board of Trustees of Northern Michigan University authorizing the one-day event liquor license be approved:
