If you miss your pup back at home or need a way to ease the anxieties that come with being a college student, the Wildpups are here to help. The fall semester's University Forum will provide an update on progress to date regarding action plan development for the three grand challenges of Northern's new strategic plan, Our Compass. The forum will also provide updates on current and future construction projects and Wildcat Way.
The department of Social Work is hosting a two-day conference with presenters, panels, and discussions focusing on work with Tribal Victim Service Agencies and Native communities. Topics will include human trafficking, housing and homelessness, traditional doula services, substance use treatment, secondary traumatic stress, missing and murdered indigenous women and people, and more!
On Display: Northern Tapestry - 125 Years of Stories
The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center proudly announces its newest exhibition, "Northern Tapestry: 125 Years of Stories," is on display at the Beaumier Center gallery in Gries Hall. The exhibit is free and open to the public. It will be on display through February 1, 2025. The Beaumier Center's hours are Monday through Friday, 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays, 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
