Description |
Effective December 29, 2009, and implemented under the Environmental Protection Agencys (EPA) powers under the Clean Air Act, the rule requires that the University submit an annual report on the Universitys greenhouse gas emissions. Gases covered by the rule include carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), hydro fluorocarbons (HFC), per fluorocarbons (PFC), sulfur hexafluoride (SF6) and other fluorinated gases and hydro fluorinated ethers. Due annually on March 31. Reporting duties differ based on amount of emmissions. ***We are below 25,000 metric ton threshold and are not required to report GHG emissions to EPA. |
