Where should I stay during Family Weekend?

How do I find where something is on campus?
A map of the NMU campus can be found at nmu.edu/campusmap.

Where can I park on campus? 
Visitor parking is allowed in any of the parking lots on campus from noon on Friday through midnight on Sunday.  You do not need to register your vehicle if you will be parking on campus during this time.  If you will be using the parking lots at other times during the week, please visit the NMU parking portal at https://nmu.t2hosted.com/Account/Portal

I want to buy some NMU apparel.  Where do I go?
Visit the NMU Bookstore located on the first floor of the Northern Center on campus. 

Do I need to RSVP for the events scheduled during Family Weekend?
You do not need to RSVP for any events during Family Weekend, simply show up!  However, you will need a ticket if you decide to attend the football game or one of the hockey games.  Tickets can be purchased at tickets.nmu.edu.  

I want to attend one of the sporting events during Family Weekend.  How do I get a ticket?
Tickets for football and hockey games can be purchased at tickets.nmu.edu.  NMU soccer games are free and do not require a ticket. 

How much is the Friday Night Fish Fry and Sunday Morning Brunch?  
The Friday Fish Fry is $12.50 per person and the Sunday morning brunch is $11.50 per person.  You can pay right at the door of the Northern Lights Dining area.  Or, if your Wildcat has a meal plan, they have the option to use their guest meal passes. 

I want to take the bus to the Sugarloaf hike on Saturday morning.  Where do I go?
The bus will pick you up at Northern Center on campus.  You may park your vehicle in the parking lot surrounding the Northern Center.  The bus will return to the same location.  There is limited parking available at the Sugarloaf trailhead if you choose to take your own vehicle.  The bus schedule is as follows:

• Leave the Northern Center at 10:00 a.m. and drop off at Sugarloaf
• Leave the Northern Center at 10:30 a.m. and drop off at Sugarloaf
• Leave the Northern Center at 11:00 a.m. and drop off at Sugarloaf/pick up anyone that is done
• Leave the Northern Center at 11:30 a.m. and drop off at Sugarloaf/pick up anyone that is done
• Leave Sugarloaf at 12:15 p.m. and return to the Northern Center
• Leave Sugarloaf at 12:45 p .m. with last return to the Northern Center
