OIS 263 Business Document Editing 4 cr. Emphasis is on grammar, usage and the chief elements of style: punctuation, number expression, capitalization, word choice, abbreviations, plurals and possessives. Students develop skill in processing text from oral to printed form by transcribing on the computer from recorded media or through the use of voice recognition software.
