Clinical Pharmacology Lecture

AH 107 Clinical Pharmacology Lecture 3 cr.  (3-0-0)

  • Prerequisites: Completion of BI 104 or BI 201/BI 202, or BI 207/BI 208 with a 2.0 GPA or better. Practical Nursing Certificate students will take this course in lieu of NU 221, unless permission received from instructor or previous applicable course.

This course is designed for the health care professional that will be administering medications and has a limited knowledge of drug calculation. The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the review of pathophysiology, actions, therapeutic uses, client teaching and administration of medications.  

Beginning Tap Dance

DAN 204 Beginning Tap Dance 1 cr.  (0-0-2)

This course will explore the basics of tap dance technique through a choreographed warm-up, center and across the floor combinations, and choreography. The class will examine the Al Gilbert curriculum, technical elements, and commercial and musical theatre tap.

May be taken up to two times for credit.

Beginning Contemporary Technique

DAN 202 Beginning Contemporary Technique 2 cr.  (0-0-4)

Students learn skills and techniques of contemporary dance. This course, designed for the general student, will explore the basics of contemporary dance including floor, barre, and center work, contemporary ballet technique elements, dynamic enchaînements in center and across the floor, choreography, and musicality.

Notes:

May be taken up to two times for credit.

Internship in Gender and Sexuality Studies

GN 491 Internship in Gender and Sexuality Studies 1-6 cr.

Professional internship experience that focuses upon gender and sexuality concerns and issues, such as in a social service agency or advocacy organization.

Notes:

May be taken more than once for up to six credits.
