For theatre and entertainment arts majors/minors this course must be taken four times for a total of four credits.Preparation of both performance and design/technology students for nation wide theatre auditions and interviews and how to find work in the theatre profession.
An interdisciplinary, interactive approach to four or five plays that will be performed at the Stratford, Ontario, Theatre Festival. Students simultaneously enroll in TH 493 Field Studies, will also be able to view these same plays in performance at Stratford.
Notes: Cross listed with EN 385.Study of theatre history from 1700 to the present. Topics include the evolution and social context of theatre in the various periods; playwrights, plays and dramatic conventions of each period; and production styles and methods.
