Students learn the skills, techniques and teaching aspects of Net/Wall Games. The net/wall category includes games, such as tennis, volleyball, pickle ball, racquetball, and badminton. Focus is on the analysis of skills, progressions, error analysis/correction, and student assessment.

HPE 250 Effective Instruction of Invasion Games 2 cr.

Students learn the skills, techniques and teaching aspects of Invasion Games.  The invasion games category includes games, such as football, soccer, basketball, lacrosse, hockey, team handball/sabakiball, speedball, ultimate, and other similar games. Focus is on the analysis of skills, progressions, error analysis/correction, and student assessment.

Introduction to Music Literature

MU 145 Introduction to Music Literature 3 cr.  (3-0-0)

A survey of Western classical music and music literature. Topics include musical terms, forms, styles, genres and historical periods. Emphasis is placed on primary composers, critical listening to their masterworks, and understanding their influence in the development of the Western art music. The ability to read music is a necessary skill for successful completion of this course.

Graduate Assessment for Chemistry Majors

CH 479 Graduate Assessment for Chemistry Majors 0 cr.

For the purpose of outcomes assessment for all majors within the chemistry department, the department is administering a nationally recognized exam which will allow our students to be compared to the national norm. This course provides a time for students to take this exam in their last semester.
