ES 571B Laboratory Procedures - Indirect Calorimetry 1 cr. Introduction to a selection of instruments and methods used in the measurement of energy expenditure in clinical and research exercise studies. A specific focus will be on the methodology of indirect calorimetry via expired air analysis during exercise and the interpretation of associated physiological responses.
