Why did you decide to come to NMU?
The outdoor playground that exists around campus!
How did you decide your major/minor?
After teaching kids how to ski, I realized that I love learning about brain development and decided to pursue psychology.
What's an example of a cool, interesting or helpful thing that you have done as a part of your major?
I use it all the time as a ski instructor by helping people overcome their fears of skiing and teach other instructors how to tailor their lessons based on different types of people.
What are you involved in on- and off-campus and what has been the most rewarding experience?
The Student Psychology Association! I love it.
What does 'beNorthern' mean to you?
Step out of your comfort zone once in a while. It’s good for you!
What would you tell someone who is considering coming to NMU?
It’s awesome!!! There is so much to do on campus and off. People love spending time outside and the professors are super insightful.
