Meet Nyah Caldwell, a Political Science major, from Grayslake, IL. Nyah plans to graduate in 2027. Why did you decide to come to NMU? I really felt like I was home when I came for my visit and I really enjoyed how pretty campus was and that it wasn’t as big How did you decide your major/minor? I want to become a lawyer and my major is the best way to get into a law school What's an example of a cool, interesting or helpful thing that you have done as a part of your major? I’ve got to meet a local lawyer and ask them questions and I got to join a law group What are you involved in on- and off-campus and what has been the most rewarding experience? the most rewarding thing to be apart of is the student law form because i get tools that i can use later on in life What does being a Wildcat mean to you? being true to myself and becoming the best person I can How did you find your sense of belonging at NMU? Becoming friends with people who keep me on my toes and getting involved in different things Further comments about your NMU experience?
