Meet Savanna Fassio, a Exercise Science major, from Park City, UT. She plans to graduate in 2022.
Why did you decide to come to NMU?
I love the climate in Marquette and Coach Keller Recruited me for the Nordic ski team which I had always wanted to be a part of!
How did you decide your major/minor?
I chose exercise science because I love learning about anatomy and kinesiology. I also heard that Northern had a great program and after meeting my cohort and the professors I fell in love with the program.
What are you involved in on- and off-campus and what has been the most rewarding experience?
I have been involved in The Nordic ski team and it has been so rewarding traveling around representing Northern and spending time with my teammates.
Do you have any advice for someone who is considering NMU?
This is a amazing place to be with a great community and beautiful environment. I am so happy that I had the opportunity to pursue my education here!
