ATR 320 Advanced Assessment Techniques in Athletic Training I (Lower Quadrant) 4 cr.  (3-0-2)

Techniques used in the evaluation of athletic injuries to the foot, ankle, knee, hip and lower spinal region. Emphasis is placed on taking a medical history, performing a medical observation, physical palpation, functional and special testing, injury pathology and general medical conditions common to athletics. Techniques and concepts are presented with a strong focus the importance of the use of an evidence-based approach to skill development and utilization.
