HS 328 America in the Age of Industrialization and Reform 4 cr. This course offers an in-depth examination of selected major topics in the era of Industrialization and Reform. The course will primarily focus on the period from Gilded Age (1876) through the New Deal (1942) and put the American experience with industrialization and reform in its world context. The economic and social consequences of industrialization and the intellectual, social, and political responses to the changes wrought by industrialization form the core focus of this course.
