HS 329 America in the Recent Past 4 cr. An in-depth examination of selected topics in the recent past, focusing on the period of American history shaped by the outcomes of World War II. The course begins with an examination of American involvement in that war, following social, economic and political trends through the current era with particular attention to the global context of changes in American society.
