MA 090 Beginning Algebra 4 cr. A developmental course, applying to some diplomas and certificates but not to associate or bachelor's degrees; not included in the NMU grade point average calculation. Topics include such areas as the following: the fundamental operations of algebra, graphing, linear equations, exponents, and introductory probability and statistics.
