HS 353 The Finnish Immigrant in America 4 cr. Focus on the inner meaning of immigration for Finnish Americans and on the institutional pattern they created in the new environment of America, particularly the Upper Peninsula. Written project consisting of a social history of a Finnish-American family spanning three generations is required.
