HM 245 Hospitality Accounting and Revenue Management 4 cr.  (4-0-0)

Accurate financial statements are critical for any operation and their accountant. It is vital that they work for the operator. Course will emphasize on creating a statement format within general accounting principle guidelines that gives the operator the critical, relevant information necessary to make key decisions and analyze their financial performance. The course will also address profit and cash flow, the financial aspect of a new operation start-up, the sales/profit relationship, current banking/lending climate and the impact it has on the hospitality operator.
