MU 149A Music in the Elementary School I 2 cr. An introductory course for students in elementary or special education. The course covers musical concepts, skills (performing, analyzing, creating), and the appreciation needed for teaching music in the elementary classroom. Students will become familiar with music of various eras, styles and cultures. Notes:

Course is not open to music majors.
