FIN 413 New Venture Finance: Capital Formation and Legal Issues 4 cr. Summarizes and ties together the materials presented in the entrepreneurship core of classes. Extends the student’s knowledge in this area through the incorporation of cases based on creating and managing new business ventures; this includes various methods of raising capital for new and growing ventures and a thorough examination of the legal issues involved in such an undertaking.
