Nursing Care of Women and the Perinatal Family (Theory)

Focus on the family unit during pregnancy. Physiological and psychosocial adaptations of the mother/baby following delivery are explored along with complications that may arise. Nursing care of patients with selected women’s health issues will also be addressed.
