Introduction to archaeological field methods through participation in actual site survey and excavation. Instruction is given in excavation procedures, survey techniques, recording, photography, preservation, cataloging and preliminary analysis. Notes:

May be repeated if the experience differs. No more than 10 credits may be applied toward the minor in anthropology.
