Tom Bergman
Community Development Director, City of Ironwood
Tom Bergman serves as the Community Development Director for the City of Ironwood. Ironwood’s Community Development Office is focused on Asset Based Community Development. Building on the unique assets of the City to create a welcoming, artistic, outdoor recreation based community. This focus is to develop a sense of place to attract talent and thus attracting businesses and industry to the area.
Outside of his role at the City, Tom serves as the president of the local mountain biking advocacy group, the SISU Dirt Crew and is co-lead for the Gogebic Chapter of the 906 Adventure Team. He is also part owner of a local craft brewery, Cold Iron Brewing.
In his free time he enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, skiing, outdoor photography, and spending time in the outdoors with his wife and daughter.
