Center for Native American Studies 25th Anniversary Celebration in a Box 

Join the Center for Native American Studies faculty, staff and students in celebrating 25 years of academic excellence and service with our 25th Anniversary Celebration in a Box.  Due to COVID-19 and its variants; to protect our elders, community members, students and faculty, the 25th Anniversary of the Center for Native American Studies will be celebrated virtually this year.  This year we are offering a Celebration Box full of Limited Edition items to help support the 27th Annual Learning to Walk Together Pow Wow.  From delicious ingredients and DDP recipes to a Director's Panel and gifts of Medicine, this box will provide you with activities and items to celebrate the center's history and legacy at Northern Michigan University.

Celebration in a Box items include:  a CNAS water bottle, DDP pumpkin soup supplies, DDP pumpkin soup and pumpkin cornbread recipe cards, Limited Edition t-shirt*, Limited Edition print of Anishinaabe News and a free Medicine Bundle gift.  A digital program pass will be included with every box!  Digital program pass provides you access to a First Nations Food Taster Cooking demonstration of DDP pumpkin soup and pumpkin cornbread and Medicine Plant Teaching Video to view at your leisure and access to the Directors Panel discussion link to be hosted on February 26, 2022.  

Boxes and Al la carte' items will be available for pick up or shipped, for an additional fee: Pick up will be from February 14-26 at the Center for Native American Studies, 112 Whitman Hall.

All proceeds from Celebration in a Box support the 27th Annual Learning to Walk Pow Wow hosted by the NMU Native American Student Association and Center for Native American Studies.
