National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) 2025

Beginning March 10th, NMU will once again participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). The survey seeks to provide an estimate on how undergraduate students spend their time and what they gain from attending NMU. Freshmen and senior students, look for an email inviting you to complete the NSSE survey!

Retirement Plan Information

The 403(b) retirement plan performance report for the 4th quarter of 2024 is now available for viewing.  The report includes industry updates, market commentary and review, plan investment review, and fund fact sheets for the 403(b) retirement plan (TIAA).  Please visit MyNMU, Employee Services tab, and click on Retirement Plan Information.

Call for Art: North of the 45th 2025 Annual Upper Midwest Juried Exhibition

Rebecca Heidenberg is the 2025 Juror. Heidenberg is a curator, filmmaker, and co-founder of the Minneapolis gallery Dreamsong, which, beyond an exhibition program, participates in art fairs, including Frieze Los Angeles, Expo Chicago, and The Armory Show. In 2021, Heidenberg launched Twin Cities Art Week, an annual celebration of contemporary art in Minneapolis and St.

Poetry without Borders - Call for Presenters

Whether you’re learning another language or speak a language other than English, we encourage you to present at Poetry without Borders on Tuesday, March 18th! Partnered with the UNITED Conference, it’s a fun event to present your favorite poetry & hear wonderful prose in a multitude of languages. To submit, check out the link below.
