April 10-16, 2022 is National Student Employment Week.  This week is celebrated on campuses throughout the nation, and is an opportunity to enhance awareness of student employment and its important role in the higher education experience.

We Hereby Refuse: Resistance, Resilience, and Remembrance

At 7pm on Thursday, March 17, via webinar, Tamiko Nimura, coauthor of We Hereby Refuse: Japanese American Resistance to Wartime Incarceration, will discuss Japanese American incarceration during WWII, the resisters described in the book, and her own connection to their stories. This event is co-sponsored by the NMU English Department's Visiting Writers Program.
