Between the World and Me: In Conversation
The Diversity Common Reader Program, in collaboration with the NMU Theatre and Dance Department and North x North Coast, is proud to present a discussion of Ta-Nehisi Coates' Between the World and Me, a moving work of nonfiction that explores what it means to live in a black body in contemporary America. Between the World and Me folds trenchant social critique into an intimate letter addressed to the author's son, and is a singular and deeply compelling treatment of issues at the heart of the antiracist protests that have defined 2020.
This event is a panel discussion about the book moderated by Dr. Keenan Colquitt. Those who reserve tickets will receive a link to the virtual panel discussion 24 hours prior to the event.
