Still Life Exhibition

Contemporary iterations of the still-life genre are presented through artworks manifesting impermanence, memory, slippages, familiarity, and the everyday. For nearly two years, we have experienced the still life – living in a time and space that is surreal, strange, familiar, edgy, and banal all at the same time.

Three Minute Thesis

Three minutes. One slide. Pages of research. NMU grad students compete for cash prizes and the opportunity to move on to the regional finals of this international competition. 3MT is all about communicating often complicated concepts in a way that is comprehensible and interesting to the lay person. Members of the McNair Scholars Program will compete in their own category.
