Contemporary iterations of the still-life genre are presented through artworks manifesting impermanence, memory, slippages, familiarity, and the everyday. For nearly two years, we have experienced the still life – living in a time and space that is surreal, strange, familiar, edgy, and banal all at the same time.

Students are invited to join NMU alumni to learn valuable networking tips and put them into practice during an interactive workshop! We'll begin with a brief "networking tips 101" session with NMU Career Services, followed by an opportunity to put what you've learned to the test. Students will experience three breakout sessions, pairing them up with NMU alumni and fellow students.
