Contemporary iterations of the still-life genre are presented through artworks manifesting impermanence, memory, slippages, familiarity, and the everyday. For nearly two years, we have experienced the still life – living in a time and space that is surreal, strange, familiar, edgy, and banal all at the same time.
The Northern Michigan University English department head and professor, Lynn Domina, has a new episode of her webinar "Let's Talk About Books at NMU" scheduled for Mar. 18th at 1pm.
The group Invoke will be our final guests as part of the 2021-22 Siril Concert Series; Friday, March 18th at 7:30 p.m! General admission is $12 and free for NMU Students and Youth (18 and under).
