Olson Library is pleased to announce that a new traveling exhibit created by the Zekelman Holocaust Center, entitled "The Holocaust: History, Memory & Michigan Voices," is now open in the Library. Along with the main exhibit, there is also a smaller exhibit on Art as Resistance. These exhibits will be on display from March 2 until April 30.
The Gender Fair is a student-run event to raise awareness and promote gender equality. It is a lively and interactive event with various activities, contests, and more. The fair will include both on-campus and community organizations, and yours would bring a new and exciting perspective to our fair. It is free entry and welcome to all!
The 9th Annual NMU Gender Fair will take place on Friday, March 20, 10am-3pm in the Northern Center Ballrooms! Join us and check out student projects and campus and community organizations. And pick up some sweet swag while you're there!

Join us for the March Climate @ Noon seminar to hear from presenters Dr. Matt Van Grinsven (NMU EEGS) and James DeDecker (Michigan State University Extension). They will be sharing the methodology and findings from their reduced-tillage agriculture research project conducted last summer at 2 local farms!
The 2025 NMU Jazz Festival will be held on the beautiful campus of Northern Michigan University on Thursday and Friday, March 19-20. High school and middle school jazz bands from throughout the region will participate in a variety of performances and clinics, and an exciting evening performance will showcase NMU students, faculty, and guest clinicians.
