Donor-Funded Scholarships
The time to apply for NMU Foundation donor-funded scholarships for the 2022 – 2023 academic year begins on Monday, January 24, 2022 and continues through Monday, February 21, 2022.
Over 300 scholarships are available. Criteria and award amounts do vary from scholarship to scholarship. Learn more at https://nmu.edu/financialaid/donorfundedschol.
When the window to apply opens on January 24, you will apply through your MyNMU. Find the Financial Aid - Donor-Funded Scholarships link under the Student Services tab and proceed from there. New students will follow the same link found under the Admitted to NMU tab in their MyNMU.
If you wish to be considered for need-based awards, you will have to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office. Visit the Financial Aid website at https://nmu.edu/financialaid for information on the FAFSA process. Additional sources of aid can also be found there through the site.
