Duets: Nina Rizzo & Kevin Wixted Opening Reception
Join us for the opening reception and artist talks for Duets: Nina Rizzo & Kevin Wixted from 5 – 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 9, at the DeVos Art Museum. A musical performance will take place at 6:45 p.m.
Nina Rizzo and Kevin Wixted bring the faraway nearby in paintings that begin as observations. The specificity and intimacy of time spent in nature are evident, yet altered by the perceptual distance memory creates. The paintings describe what it feels like to carry a place with us.
Duets: Nina Rizzo & Kevin Wixted will be on display from Oct. 9 – Dec. 12, 2026.
