NMU Donor-Funded Scholarships
The time to apply for NMU Foundation donor-funded scholarships for the 2023 – 2024 academic year begins on Monday, January 23, 2023, and continues through Monday, February 20, 2023.
Over 500 scholarship awards are available totaling over $1 million. Criteria and award amounts vary from scholarship to scholarship. Learn more at https://nmu.edu/financialaid/donorfundedschol.
When the application window opens on January 23, students will apply through MyNMU. Find the Financial Aid - Donor-Funded Scholarships link under the Student Services tab and proceed. Newly admitted students can click NMU Foundation Donor-funded Scholarships on the Admitted to NMU tab in MyNMU.
If students wish to be considered for need-based awards, they have to file a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) with the Financial Aid Office. Visit the Financial Aid website at https://nmu.edu/financialaid for information on the FAFSA process. Additional sources of aid can also be found on this site.
