Northern Now with NMU Chef Alden Griffus '10 on Cooking with Holiday Leftovers

The Northern Michigan University Alumni Association is excited to continue Northern Now, a monthly digital event series for alumni and friends. Join us on Wednesday, December 9 at 7 p.m. ET as we welcome Chef Alden Griffus CCC ’10, executive chef of dining services at Northern Michigan University, for a holiday cooking segment. Tired of eating turkey sandwiches and not sure what to do with all of those holiday leftovers?
Along with NMU Catering Manager Derek Estes ’19, Chef Alden will show you how to make her favorite leftover recipes and share stories from her childhood and professional experience.

NMU Events Manager Dianne Stone ’10 will moderate the event and share audience questions LIVE with Chef Alden and Chef Derek.

Participants will receive the recipes ahead of time. The event is free and registration is required. Once you register, you will receive the link to the live stream.

Northern Now is a monthly, digital event series for alumni and friends hosted by the Northern Michigan University Alumni Association. Taking place on the second Wednesday of each month, the series provides a behind-the-scenes look at NMU students, departments, athletics, and more on campus with exclusive tours, interviews, and interactive events.
