Faculty can easily design visual materials for Open Educational Resources (OER) using Adobe Express, including infographics, charts, and videos.

Join us for a presentation by Daric Christian, professor in the Department of Art and Design and Instructional Multimedia Consultant for the Center for Teaching and Learning.

This event is part of NMU's Open Education Week and is supported by SISU Innovation Funding.

This workshop is designed for faculty, graduate students, and staff who want to know more about how copyright shapes teaching and research, and how open licensing, such as those provided by Creative Commons, can support the sharing of ideas and information.

Emera Bridger Wilson (Librarian) and Tom Gillespie (Senior Instructional Technologist) will introduce the benefits and limitations of all rights reserved copyright, how open licensing works with copyright, and will facilitate activities to teach participants how to select the correct Creative Common licenses for their teaching and research.

Join us for the launch of the NMU Financial Literacy Program! Two events will be celebrating the launch: a presentation & conference on Thursday, April 25th, and a Workshop on Friday, April 26th.

Friday's workshop is primarily geared towards educators and education majors. While we anticipate the attendance of teachers, the workshop is open to anyone who may find themselves in a position to assist students with financial literacy matters or the students themselves.
