The Beaumier U.P. Heritage Center is proud to announce the opening of its new exhibition celebrating the work of one the U.P.’s strongest public art advocates. “Mary Biekkola Wright: A Retrospective, 1986-2011” will open on Saturday, April 22 at 12 p.m. in the Beaumier Center’s gallery in Gries Hall. The gallery is free and open to the public.
North of the 45th is an annual juried exhibition of artists living in the geographical area north of the 45th parallel in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. This line, known as the halfway point between the equator and the north pole, is often associated with being “up north.” The Exhibition highlights artists living in this upper Midwest region from rural and urban areas.
Hands-on, minds-on STEM classes for students in grades K-6. Featuring LEGO robotics, Coding Camp, Science of Sports, Design & Create, and other STEM-related topics.
College and career STEM exploration classes featuring visits to local business and industry partners in our community for students in grades 7-8.
